Brilliant Students of IAS!!!
Your break is winding down and the new school year is just around the corner. As you enter the new school year, I want you to know how proud of each of you I am. You are each unique in your own ways. Some of you are artists, some of you are athletes, some are dancers and others are writers. As you enter this school year, I want to challenge you to not lose sight of your passion. It is where passion meets purpose that world changers are born. I have no doubt that you will one day change the world.
The fact of the matter is, you were created for great things. God has a plan and a purpose for your life. You were put on this world to love and to be loved. God loves you unconditionally without end and you are so worthy of that kind of CRAZY love!
As for IAS, it’s easy to lose sight of our passions and of God’s love in the context of school. Middle school and high school are tough. Kids can be mean or immature. You were created for more than this but it’s all part of the journey.
I want to encourage you to rise above the drama and the noise this year. Love your self without end because you are a pretty amazing kid. Be the leader I know you are. Lead with actions rather than words. Be respectful to your new teachers and try not to run out of hall passes the first month of school.
I miss you all and hope you have a fantastic school year!
